  1. Do you have a broker carrier contract?
    Yes, all carriers are required to sign a contract in advance of handling loads for BTS.
  2. How does your quick pay program work?
    A check will be mailed the day we receive a faxed POD and invoice. Carrier is still required to mail the original paperwork. Carrier must agree to a 3% reduction of the gross settlement.
  3. What types of freight do you normally tender to carriers?
    We mostly move TL and partial van freight. We occasionally move flat and step deck loads.
  4. Where do most of your loads originate?
    Most loads move from the Midwest, South and Southeast.
  5. Do you move freight across borders?
    Yes, we have loads originating and destined to Mexico and Canada.
  6. Do you work mostly with National Carriers?
    No, the majority of our capacity providers have less than 20 trucks.
  7. How do you approve carriers?
    Carriers are required to complete the BTS carrier approval packet. All carriers are required to carry a minimum of $1 million in liability insurance, $100,000 in cargo insurance and have a satisfactory safety rating.
  8. Are you currently involved in any dedicated lanes?
    Yes, we have several dedicated lanes.
  9. How often do your loads require specialty equipment?
    Approximately 30-40% of the time. Carriers may be asked to provide logistics straps, pads, pallet jacks, logistics posts, blocking and plywood.
  10. What are your normal payment terms?
    Net 30
  11. How can we access your available loads?
    We can include you on our daily available loads email.
  12. Do you require check calls?
    Yes, drivers are required to contact us for initial dispatch, after getting loaded and immediately after delivering.
